How to transfer blogger(blogspot) blog between two accounts
Posted by kranthi on Tuesday, February 26, 2008This post explains how to transfer blogger(blogspot) blogs between two accounts:
Suppose if you have many blogs in one account and a fewer in another, transfering a few to other account will make it easier to manage.
Another thing is, if you are trying to sell your blog, you need to transfer your blog to your partner's account. So,let's see how to do this:
1.First Sign into your blogger dashboard. Click on the settings link next to your blog name.[see the below screenshot]

2.Now,click on the Permissions

3.Before transfering your blog ie. before making someone admin, you need to first invite him and make him as author.Click on the 'ADD AUTHORS' button to add.

4.Enter the person's email id and click on the INVITE button.

5.After inviting him, blogger will send an email to that person asking him to visit a link and confirm that he is willing to contribute to your blog.

6.Once the invitee confirmed,go to the permissions page once again. Now,you will see an option to grant admin privileges to your partner.Click on the 'grant admin privileges' link and confirm.

7.Now,your blog has two admins. You will see the admin 'remove' link next to the author's name.Remove your's as admin(and also as author). Now your blog will be transfered from your account to your partner's.

That's it! Now,you easily transfered your blog from one account to another account.

This is what i have been looking to do for long time, transfer one of my unused blog to another account of mine and found it here, didn't thought it would so easy. thanx for sharing.
But I also have a question, whether doing it this way will it affect my ranking or pagerank etc?
No. It won't affect any PR's.
Thanks. I had my first blog with yahoomail as the username. But later when I had other blogs using my google account, it was very incovenient switching between the two accounts. Now I combined all my blogs into my google account.

Excellent tip!
A related question: Is that possible to - easily - transfer a Blogger blog hosted on an external domain to a Blogger account?
Thanks.
After I switched my blog from one email to another (followed these instructions to the letter) I find that when I am looking at my blog the "dashboard" and "my account" links no longer show up as links in the navbar unless I go to "customize" first. It seems to me a link to my dashboard would be more useful when I am looking at my blog than when I am already looking at my dashboard. Is there a way to fix this?
This is great. I've been trying to figure out how to get everything under the same account for weeks. Thank you! This information was very helpful.
